Residence & Acquisitions

Housing

A small, solitary treehouse near the edge of the neighborhood, on the side closer to town. Has basic utilities but not much else; the previous owner didn’t leave it in the best condition, and furnishing is sparse. Aubrey doesn’t spend a lot of time here, but she’s getting used to it.

There’s a giant shelf right by the front, which blocks both ease of entry and… an entire window? It totally has nothing to do with the next-door neighbor.

Inventory

• assorted handwaved living amenities
• obligatory shard-collecting crystal (watermelon tourmaline); usually not visible
• sword, given by Eren Jaeger and custom-made by Kanoa, alongside a fitting scabbard & duller blade for practice. Obtained early February; kept in the back of the house, within reach of her bed.
  A weapon custom-made for someone hellbent on learning how to use it. Despite the grit, it stays shining.
• mahogany box, given by Luz, containing various teas, a lavender pouch, and stationary & quills. Obtained late February; placed on display, with the accompanying drawing on the front.
  A gift from a friend. Very much well-liked.
• painting of the sea at dusk, also from (and made by) Luz. Obtained in tandem with the above; in a nice frame towards the back of the house.
  Another cherished gift; looks like it took a long time to make. When the light shines in just right, it brightens the room.
• photo from home. Obtained March 1; pinned right near her bed.
  It’s not what was asked for. But it’s hard to complain.

Learned things of note

• minor healing, from the Cerulean Potion. Barely practiced, but can be soothing.
• texting acronyms: idk, hth, lmao, lol, rofl/mao, wtf, wya, wyd. Wow….
• how 2 sord, mostly from Eren with some stances from Kanoa. Tends to go too far.
• child soldier kickflip

Aubrey was finally trying to fix it up when disaster struck, and she hasn’t been back since.

At least the shelf blocking the entry finally got moved back. The window it was hiding brightens the room, and offers a clear view to the neighbor’s house. A bridge connects them—though last Aubrey checked, it was in rough shape.
